The neoprene material is hook resistant - a much needed upgrade from other sleeves that easily snag & tangle with hooks attached to other rods. Each sleeve is designed with an adjustable clasp to keep it secured to any length of baitcasting or spinning rod from 6 1/2 to 7 1/2ft.
