UPDATE: We're MOVING!
After almost 4 years in our current location (and quickly outgrowing the space we have between the Fishing and Archery Department), we decided to put our space up for sale at the end of April this year.
Typically, commercial properties similar to ours have taken anywhere from 1-2 years to sell. When we listed ours, we hoped to be able to sell by next spring. Much to our surprise, we sold in just 10-days and the timeline for our journey to a larger space changed rapidly!
We will be in our current location until June 28th, and are hoping to be set up in a new space by mid-August or early September this year. We have enjoyed serving and getting to know the wonderful people in our local Spruce Grove/ Parkland County Community (as well as surrounding areas) and look forward to what the future brings for our business!
Our plan is to find a new spot and be set up by Mid-August to early September.

The Full Story
It's really all about being outside in the elements. Kids in bare feet on the shore or in the boat. Breathing in that fresh lake air. That perfect sound when your line hits the water. That feeling of docking the boat on the sand while you break for a bit before heading back out again. A hike to your favorite quiet place to cast for a while. There's no place like home and there's nothing else like fishing.
Summer of 2021, I was sitting at the table with my wife and our kids when the idea of 'Hooked Up Fishing Gear' was born. I recall saying "Spruce Grove doesn't have a fishing store. We should open one!" Just 8 weeks later we had finalized the purchase of our store-front and began the building process.
I've had many ideas in my lifetime, but this one really felt 'right'. There are so many young families in the greater Parkland County area and as a local community resident of 15 years and a father of 4 who enjoys fishing with my family, I really wanted to provide the option for other families to do the same. I want this store to give you more time for adventures by eliminating the grand trek into the city to stock up on supplies for an afternoon by the shore.
Fast forward to March of 2024, and we've more than doubled our inventory, we've partnered with Lawrence from Accurate Archery to add a Pro Shop in the back (where we are fully set up and now offer bow tuning, sales and service) and much more to come. We have no plans of slowing down and are excited to keep updating our story as we go!
